Prevent, Prepare, Respond, and Recover
Colorado has established a School Safety Resource Center to help local schools “prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from all types of emergencies and crisis situations,” including, of course, the ongoing threat of active shooters. http://www.safeschools.state.co.us/ Includes planning templates for small, medium and larger schools.
